My wife has never been too keen on having pets, much less a dog. I have always wanted either a german shepherd, or some other large, smart dog. On Christmas this year my wife surprised us three boys with this...

after some research and lot's of questions we decided on a golden doodle. A mix of a golden retriever and poodle. In our case, the mother was an English golden, so she is a little broader in the chest and more sturdy. She should grow to about sixty pounds. Definitely a cutey pie! Here is Bella...

Congratulations on your new family member. Bella looks like an adorable little girl! You'll wonder how you ever lived without a dog in the house. ( We have 3, and one is named Belle) All that unconditional love is priceless! Best of luck!

What a pretty dog for a mixed up breed name. It is going to be a learning experience for all. We have 5, two indoor Pomeranians and a mixed breed that looks like a small collie (she has been with me for over 15 years) and two Anatolian Shepards to guard our horses and cows. We apparently love animals I guess. Best of luck!

Thanks for all the kind words. She definitely gives plenty of unconditional love. It's funny how my wife has become the closest with her even though she was the lone hold out for so long...guess we'll have to get another dog in a year or so. Our oldest son is 17, and is looking forward to taking this babe magnet out on the town with him. She needs to learn to walk on a leash first.
