Two F-bodies down in one day

I was at work and my GF calls me around 3pm, she wrecked our mint SS.
she is ok other than neck pain.

I had the car towed to my buddy's shop to make sure nobody touches it since i have had bad luck with holding yards in the past.

i get in my buddy's car to pick up a part he ordered down the road. he was driving i was passanger. A truck with a big flat bed trailer pulls in front of us within 100 feet.
this is the aftermath
I thank god we are all ok besides a few broken bones and bruises.
for all the people that say that 4-gen F-bodies aren't safe Bamm here it is.

i helped him put this car together the saturday before the crash.

Holy crap!! Wow!! I'm glad everyone was not seriously hurt. Sorry to see those 4th gens like that. I'm a big fan of the 4th gens.

Regarding next car, what do you think of the G8-GXP?

Stacy i like the GXP but you cant touch a clean one for less than 10 grand.
i preffer the GTP because there are parts everywhere for them and cheaper.

Yeah but imagine riding through a golf course catching air over the sand dunes on a sat night in a Turbo mini cooper. Then hitting the car wash and coming back with the takeout for Liz and Britt like nothing happened. Just saying Landy.

trust me I like the idea of the mark 8 but she will be driving it 100 miles a day for the next year so I don't want to get a car to put a lot of money on.

Gtp with 600 bucks worth of mods it will be and she will have a mid 13 sec car she can beat on everyday.

F bodies are heavy ,thats why they use plastic front fenders to offset some of the weight. / aside from that fun fact I am glad Everybody is OK and not HURT:beer:
