For those who may be new to the Marauder, the car featured in that clip was #1X, the prototype for all of the Marauder S series. It was built for Bill Karrow, one of the original members here (MENSREA). It was then sold to our own SergntMac. Bunny and I had the honour of driving that car from Chicago to Indy for MVII as Mac had a prior commitment but wanted the car there. Last I knew, it was sold to a man in Hawaii who is not a member here.

Helluva car for sure.

Years back, Mac insisted that I drive his car when MERCMAN and I drove up to Chicago to crash a Windy City Marauder Meet.

On the infamous Route 66, just past the "Chicken Shack", 2 heavy black stripes were put down that began my 'test drive'. :D

Nice fined Sir Pink. I hadn't seen this video. These Marauder S' must be very coveted as I can't remember ever seeing one for sale.

I know we have 3 signature series S cars in MM.net, 1 was wrecked but not sure where the other 6 are.

Sgt Mac was saying at MV9 he knew the Feds got a bunch of them (20 something I think he said) and the other plain S cars are ?????.:)

While Kenny did talk about revisiting the Panther platform back at MV7 in Indy, the most prominent platform nowadays is the Mustang/Shelby platform. He is now offering suspension kits for these cars that will surely improve handling - and the Market is huge!

Covina, California (9 October 2011) - Tiger Racing’s Paul Brown finished his Pro Racing Pirelli World Challenge GTS Championship winning season on podium, placing third in the season ending, Road Atlanta Grand Prix. The crew was excited to add a third place trophy to the multiple 1sts and 2nds won this year and for the fact that Brown has matched Parnelli Jones’ 1970 record setting SCCA Trans-Am Championship season also in a production based Boss 302.

Enjoyed the video. But, for 450 HP where is the $22,000 going? I can't see any more than about $10K for a supercharger, gears, exhaust sys., converter and tune. :)

Sure it was $22,000. But they were built by a top notch tuner/builder. Yes. Yes you can have it done for less. Way less $$$. But your car will came back with different parts, messed up painted panels and some unwanted undecoatings and it will be all your fault. :cool:

Last thing in the world I do lower a car here in P.R. there's people that low the cars and then when they're approaching to a street bump or as here in P.R. said in spanish "Muerto" ( speed reductor ) you see those guys taking up to two minutes to pass it cause the cars are so slow that the exhaust tubes hit the reductor, so what I can do is raise more the car and in case I have to pass a reductor at high speed nothing happens, while the Sport compact crap drivers have to slow down, He he he he heeeee. :burnout:

I didn't realize it was a "packaged" car done by a much respected builder. I never heard of them when I bought mine.

Gotta say to, seeing the response from people in the stands at the track watching a big 4-door put down a 12.96 in April of 03 was priceless. Let my buddy make a pass and the noise from the crowd at GIR was priceless.
