I bought my car in 2009 for $12,900. I just checked NADA and its valued now at $13,725. Suck on that Jacky Jones Lincoln Mercury:banana2:

I know, I checked the KBB values and the value keeps rising. Cars are selling on this forum for thousands below blue book.

I bought mine for $8000 back in '08.

NADA says mine is $9975 in clean retail condition.
Edmunds says private party value in 'clean' condition is $7000.

Considering I've put 20k on the car and had tons of fun in it...I'm okay with that value. I'd walk away with profit if I decided to sell it, which I don't see happening. Can't beat some of the trips I've been on in this car.

Edmunds said my private party is 7,500. Are these fine automobiles expected to increase from here on out? Obviously stock is more valuable for collectors but would brake, exhaust, headlight, audio, engine upgrades degrade the value very much? I'm not talking about upgrades you can really see, more so that you can FEEL.

Shouldn't degrade the vehicle value much, but on the other hand, they won't substantially add to it either. I've put in thousands of dollars of upgrades into my car, but if I ever decide to sell it (while unlikely), I don't expect to recover any of my investment.

Cant ever replace memories or money invested but its nice to know valuue is holding. Kinda like the svo or notchback foxbody. They still bring deent cash in good condition

If that's the case, mine isn't worth squat. I guess I'll just dump it for 3k and call it a day.
