Not A Joke but a true story A blonde, a Ford truck and a mattress A blonde woman ran over a mattress on the highway, and decided not to worry -- and kept on driving... It caught on the undercarriage of her Ford... The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough to tear a hole in the fuel tank... The Subsequent Lack Of Fuel Is What Finally Brought Her Vehicle To Its Knees... She Had Still Managed To Drive 30 More Miles With A 60-Pound Tangle of Stuff Wrapped Around Her Drive Shaft... She Had it Towed To Her Ford Dealership And Complained That The Vehicle Had A "Sort Of Shimmy" When She Was Driving At High Speeds... Below Are The Photos Of What They Found At Her Ford Dealership... The Last Photo Is By Far The Best... "Sort Of A Shimmy" -- I'll Bet It Did!... Is This Just The Best Blonde Story Or What?... The Ford Mechanics Still Can't Believe Their Eyes... And Still Wondering How To Remove It...

I caught a 5 gallon bucket @ 80mph somehow did not damage anything. Was pretty cool by the time I was able to exit it was half gone!
I don't always get things tangled around my drive shaft, but when I do it usually does involve a matress. Stay horny my friends.

I don't know about anyone else but if I know I ran over something in the road I immediately check the rear view mirror to make sure I don't have a tagalong. How can you not miss a mattress, I guess it magically disappeared.

I ran over a plastic bag one time in the MM, it ended up snagging on the exhaust and melted to the 2nd cat (forget which side), smelled burnt plastic until I had the 2nd set of cats removed a short while later. lol

I caught 2 plastic bags on the lower shock bolt. It was better than having it land on a hot cat.
BTW, This pic was on a thread here before. I saw this happen to Crown Victoria. It took a while to cut the springs out from around the driveshaft.

That must have made some unholy noise...I can't imagine anyone, blonde or otherwise, driving more than a very short distance like that...
