Not A Joke but a true story A blonde, a Ford truck and a mattress A blonde woman ran over a mattress on the highway, and decided not to worry -- and kept on driving... It caught on the undercarriage of her Ford... The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough to tear a hole in the fuel tank... The Subsequent Lack Of Fuel Is What Finally Brought Her Vehicle To Its Knees... She Had Still Managed To Drive 30 More Miles With A 60-Pound Tangle of Stuff Wrapped Around Her Drive Shaft... She Had it Towed To Her Ford Dealership And Complained That The Vehicle Had A "Sort Of Shimmy" When She Was Driving At High Speeds... Below Are The Photos Of What They Found At Her Ford Dealership... I ran over a plastic bag one time in the MM, it ended up snagging on the exhaust and melted to the 2nd cat (forget which side), smelled burnt plastic until I had the 2nd set of cats removed a short while later. lol

I caught 2 plastic bags on the lower shock bolt. It was better than having it land on a hot cat.

BTW, This pic was on a thread here before. I saw this happen to Crown Victoria. It took a while to cut the springs out from around the driveshaft.
