18-19MPH. The EMP waterpump and 180 stat may have something to do with that.

At 20 mph. I have a scangauge II, even when the water temp has reached 205-210 on a hot summer day the temp gauge still points at 20 mph. The only time it's been higher than that is when my fan relay module fried and I shut the car down right away and let it cool off for a while before making my way to the dealer for a replacement.

Very interesting so far that they all for the most part point the same.

I would say mine is at 17 but that is in the same ball park...

Yup! Very similar to the dummy oil pressure gauge. By the time you see it floating in the red, shut it down, pop the hood and let her cool. Then burp her.

If you use WATER WETTER, it points to 15...

I would say they are similar, I have an aeroforce gauge and watching both i can tell the difference between 168* which is cruising and 210* in traffic on summer days.

Now that is interesting, as I was starting to figure that it was just a dummy gauge.

It is not a dummy gauge..........

AeroForce ranges between 174 and 182* normally, that translates into 17-18 mph on the speedometer.

Well, it's not very accurate. It's been proven that it takes a big temp change between what is stable and dangerous for the needle to jump.

yes it is not too accurate because of the face design on the gauge.
but i disagree when the car is hotter than normal it clearly shows on the gauge. at least thats my experience.

I found out on my original engine and then was backed up in my thoughts by a couple others that realized the needle shoots up from normal into the red ONLY after a LARGE temperature difference has been reached. I've seen it first hand, multiple times. This was shortly after I purchased the car and right before I learned about "burping".
