The 20012 GT keeps amazing me. After reading this complete build thread from Ken @ Diablo & Jake from power by the hour TT build http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/2011-mustangs-354/812254-twin-turbo-5-0-build.html

The engine bay pic is nothing short of a work of art. Well what amazes me the most are things about this car Ken was saying with the auto 6spd Tranny it is rated to 800HP & same with rear end. As for the Coyote He has been putting high 6's low 700's safely thru stock motor on pump gas:eek:. When they built this kit it was not with intention to sell them, That has changed due to overwhelming request's. There already is several TT kits for them on the market but with the other kits I understand each has some problems. Ken & Jake have worked & worked to insure this wouldnt fall into that category it is a truly awesome product. The worst thing about it is it has me contemplating selling my Whippled 04MM & getting one of these and putting there kit on it. Basically Kit+convertor and call it a day & mid 10's in qtr. Enjoy the read

i been drooling over them too, they just totally out date the 4vs. it dont even make sense to buy say a terminator any more unless you like that body better.

Dave, they are 4 valves.lol
It still makes sense to buy a TERMI if you compare the price of the mods.
Never the less the new 5.0 is badass, I'm just not a mustang guy. I like off the wall cars like the marauder, or a two door box chevy I'm tryin to get and put an LQ9 on it then lots of those mustang would have to see my square tailights.lol

I've never been a Mustang fan either, but the new 5.0 was too good to pass up. I still don't associate with them though. I made a few posts on a Mustang forum, but that's about it because most of them are tool bags.

Lots of custom parts with this turbo set up. It seems to me the Trilogy is simpler.

AH a Trilogy is like a lil air compressor compared to this kinda package. No offense meant to Trilogy it is a awesome kit. Id say the same thing about comparing My Whipple to it also. This thing is in a diff ballpark.

Iam with ya on that be diff thing, Main reason for appreciation of are MM's. I dont know if it's Iam just getting older but for a car to be able to make huge power in stock form and be fine, Iam kinda liking that thought. Besides one of these Stangs with this kit on it atleast in my area I dont forsee there being alot of them Thats being different. Take a Stang this kit solid tune Ull be seing low tens and more if push it with race gas Iam starting to like that idea.. Ive already started to kick around the math. Thinking about looking for a 11 with around 20,000ish miles on it at the dealer auctions, might be able to find a nice one for a great price.

i know they are 4vs but no one calls a coyote a 4v they just call it a 5.0 or a coyote.

and this is exactly what i mean. spend 6k (if they still made them) on a trilogy to make 450 at the tires. or start with a car that already makes almost 4 to the tires and double it. its just awesome stuff.

One day someone will put a coyote into a panther, and with a six speed automatic to back it up...it'll be just like takin candy from a baby at the races! I know I can't be the only one who fantasizes about a twin turboed coyote under their hood? Someone send me the money and I'll sacrifice my car for the conversion.

200% correct! and then ur still gonna need a tranny in future'want anything more then boring old 450.00 now U need a motor. Oh yea ur gonna blow ur rear end to. Lets see uh 7500-8000 for TT kit 24,000 ish avg for 11 Stang= 675ish safely, Trans should be no issue till ur pushing over 800 & at that most failures so far were on a few with over a 1000hp on them with regular track time. rear personally havent heard of any regardless of power levels. and lastly with that package safely tune and great power U got a car that should go strong for quite a while. I done some much educating on these in last few weeks on them cars and Iam very highly impressed. Ill make clear to Iam in now way ripping our MM's Just kinda:confused: The thought of having a low 10's DD and not much things to be worried about sounds pretty nice.
A very good example Dave Just last night on my way home from another members house with out warning my rear end basically imploded. aparently it didnt like 560rwtq beening put thru it. I love our cars but Ford gave us & others the stick.
Oh yea lastly when doing TTurbo install replace short block ur cruisin a grand to the wheels safely. Ken from diablo has been driving as his DD & 0 to very little problems. My wife is gonna have me sleeping in my car but I Got on list when ready to go as yes I will buy. So I guess I should put the word out with a couple of friends who do auctioncause Iam

Meh. I have both cars, and when it came time to decide on what to do, I went for the Trilogy. Mustangs are a dime a dozen, which is good if you just want to go fast because you have more options. However, I think going fast in a Marauder is infinitely cooler than being just another a**hole with a fast Mustang.

im a "most bang for your buck" kinda guy. i like the MMs but parts are getting almost impossible to find. the old motors are just that, old.

I disagree somewhat, the price difference between the cars is what keeps the terminators valuable; but seeing these are GTs are will drop in value faster, that will probably change in a year or two once used ones are more common...

I'm really curious how hard it would be to get all the electronics going if I were to drop a crate coyote in my mach1... at the very least it's lighter than the s197+ cars by a few hundred pounds, and I don't think I'd have to change much of anything else...

I wonder if this was part of the decision for trilogy to go out with a bang. Once you could pick up a wrecked low millage gt for 8k you could just go 5.0 N/A.

And yes I fantasize about it. :) :burnout:

Already ck'd with my buddy who is a dealer he said in last 2 months or so already seen a few go thru dealer auction in high teens. had low miles just need thorough cleaning and touch up stuff done. of course thats dealer pricing (ussually trade in value or slightly less)
Keep in mind build one of these up U shouldnt have to do anything to tranny or rear end if under 750ish. & a motor willing to take 625ish safely. Try to do those things to our cars, It might last a month if ur nice to it.

Just buy a notch and drop the coyote with a T56. much more sexier, 2800 lbs. 400whp with just the swap and a tune that would be a combo I would try

Yep.....It's kind of frustrating that our 4.6 4V motors make 302 HP while the new 5.0 Coyote makes 420 HP....
I dumped almost 8 grand into my 5.0 and I'm putting out 325 RWHP....:o
There is something to be said for those new Coyote cylinder heads and variable valve timing.

BTW: On that TT 5.0 install....those stainless steel headers are gorgeous!
But I bet they bake the $h*t out of the battery, battery cables and the master cylinder on a hot summer day of cruising.

Naw!!!

You can't wrap those beauties up like an old mummy!

:D

Best to 'Jet-Hot' them with a thermal barrier coating.

True.... But header wrap is what works best with the higher heat ranges of a turbo setup.

Iam 100% with ya on that Joe, It is become a awesome power maker compared to our Mod motors. Like to see 8 grand of goodies dumped into one of them motors & see what ya get.
