Sheriff,
It will beat you every time because Ice Cube blows away ALL of the cards from the first screen - so, your card is missing as well as ALL the others. We tend not to notice it because the same card values are present (King, Queen, 7, 8, etc.) but the suits change - that's the trick.

Drove me nuts too until I compared all cards from the first screen to the second screen.

Ahhhhh............ yes. I was confirming my selected card was missing..... didn't pay any attention to the rest. Stupid me!
