Recovering Door lock code

im trying to set/use my door lock pad on the door and i dont think the code provided by the OO is correct. i put the code in and it dont unlock the door. for me to set the code to my own i need the original door lock code. how can i get this info??

Not sure if this is the same for Marauders..but some years Crown vics put it one of the trunk hinges (sticker) You can also remove door panel and it will be on the module. Dealer might or should be able to retrieve thru vin or by hooking up to it.

Pull the driver's door panel off & look for a sticker on the remote keyless entry [RKE] module for the factory door lock code.

I found my code in my manual on a card:cool:

rke will have the 5 dig. code for the door on it just have to remove the door panel

The factory code is on the passenger side trunk hinge on my '03, also in same location for many other Ford models and earlier years, dunno about a '04... My old '93 MGM had the sticker on the trunk lid near the latch...

ive checked the trunk hinges ..it isnt there. i will check the door panel
