The color really doesn't matter.
I think woat matters is the condition of the hood structurally.
One could paint it any color you choose.
I personally would use it for some ideas I have.

The question is Guittard22 are you or have you purchased the hood?

$120 is way to much for a a hood that needs to be repainted if that is the case I would buy every cv gm hood in the junk and paint it my self sell for a lot more money
