Who wants to put 4:10s, a j-mod, and a trans cooler in for me? None of the shops around here have a clue what I am talking about when I discuss a j-mod with them (this is a Chevy town).
I tried to contact Darrin thru his web site, but he has not gotten back with me. I do not have everything needed, so I need to be able to take it so someone. I am willing to help turn a wrench and pay some $$ and a case of your favorite beer.

Well. Zack on ChicagoSVT would be a great source. I think his gear guy is in Illinois though. Or if you want to drive out to St Charles IL. You can go to the Zen master. Hans at Deans Performance. He has done my 4.10's, Riskys, Justbobs 4.30's and countless other Mustangs. A total pro and top notch work at a great price. I payed $300 with fluids for my install. Quiet as a mouse.

Where ever you choose.
DON'T let anyone tell you a little whine from the gears is ok. That's BS!!

Zack can do you J-mod and trans cooler too at his house. Just ask him.

Sounds like I need to split this up. I have a place in town I would trust for the gears. I just don't get a warm fuzzy feeling about the know with the. I think I will get in contact with zack for that part. I have his e-mail address. Thanks everyone.

He was the first one I contacted. He does not have everything he needs to do gear swaps at the moment. My local in town source is a little high, $350 for labor. I was hoping for closer to the $200-$250 range for install.

Unless there 4.30's.. Then maybe a teenie weenie little bit! :) Seriously, just think out loud and you can't hear it though. Better tight and whiny, than loose and bustercated!
