Seeing as the Interceptor is my reliable DD I have to have something to tinker with...

First is my '79 Capri RS. Started life as a 2.3/4spd car but has since been swapped to a roller 5.0/t-5. Lotta work ahead as it was in pretty sad shape when I got it.

Then we have the '76 Stingray

Former show car, healthy SBC/4spd great for a driver and the local shows, definitively not the competitor it once was but I prefer it that way.

Nice Capri! I had to junk a SOLID black 5.0 version about 12 years ago and prove it in court :( Not me really, but my neighbor who has a small towing business. He would get some really good cars from time to time that dumbdumbs would call to have junked. He would let me clean them, fix them, whatever, sell and keep half the money. It was a good very small profit that was really needed at the time.

Turned out the previous owner saw it for sale in my driveway four days after he thought it was junked and called the police. You can't sell a car that isn't in your name. We knew this, but gambled anyways. We were able to fire sale really good cars for only $3/4/500 bucks and everyone was a winner except the state of IL...

That pained me to see it go to get junked.
