We really haven't discussed it yet. Mel and I are good for around 10 AM Wed. I wanted super early but we need to get the kids off to school.

You coming by way of 88 or 80?

I was hoping to leave early thursday morning. I am right off of 1-80 near the Indiana border at Halsted street.

Anyone else leaving thursday morning?

That's why I'm asking. I wanted to get there Wednesday also and was going to camp out overnight in Chicago Tuesday night to be ready with whomever is leaving Wednesday morning. I'd better check my reservation to see if they have me for 3 or 4 nights.

I wish I could leave on Wednesday but I have work commitments to take care of......:(

What type of walkie talkies does everyone have? I know they have made huge leaps from years ago and I wanted to know which ones to buy.

I have the kind where I push the little side button and procede to talk into it. Then I let off the button to hear the other persons response.

I guess it depends on where everyone is meeting to begin the journey. Is there a Waffle House in near 65 South? I think I'll be staying down at 30 & 65 in Merrillville.
