On the home page, left hand side, there is a tab for making donations. Then decide what you want to do, brother.

When the time comes I will. Considering how much I've gained in knowledge, entertainment and great friends, it's the least I can do.

Where does the money go?

Upkeep of the site, major financial contributions to regional events, the annual Marauderville national meet and other events such as the annual Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout at the ATL Dragway.

If you enjoy your MM, the folks that own MMs, and this site, contributing to its support is well worth it.

I believe to help maintain the web site and also help support events like Louisville and Marauderville gatherings.

I've donated in the past and still haven't seen one flag. I'm I suppose to have a flag for the $25 I donated in the past? I received the email notification about my year is up but I didn't donate yet.

J.bo - flags and stars are symbolic of the number of posts. Keep posting and once you hit 100, your first star or flag appears.

You need at least 100 posts to get a "star" or a "flag". It appears that you have not donated within the past year so you are not current ..... therefore no flags. If you donate now, your 2 stars will turn to 2 flags.

Good detail for those wondering, Charlie; and yeah, the donations are annual; but money WELL spent, IMO.

Where does the money go?

Having seen it for myself on numerous occasions, the money goes back to the members in the form of events held during the course of the year. MM.net put up a boat load of support for MV9 this year and have done so for every Marauderville before. They also support the smaller regional meets like Carlisle and the shootout. The money also goes back into the site to keep it on the internet and allow us all to have a forum to plan the meets and collaborate with each other.
I think its money well spent and that's why I continue to support the site through my personal donation and raffles held at Carlisle.
