Gettysburg round-up

Well we had a great time eating and BSing like we usually do at these meets. Not a huge turn out this time, must have been all that Sun and 45* weather that kept everyone away:shake:.

Had 12 members and a few guests.

1 DPB- Comin'in Hot
1 DTR- Hammerdown and Frdfrk
5 SB- Ms. Denmark and myself, 71 Cyclone and his wife( I want to say Pam but I wouldn't bet my life on it), What's up DOHC, Silversurfer and TCB01, PRCarGuy and his crew
0 Black MM's
1 Black Ford Explorer.- Ladyhawke and Haggis( who is going Hippee again)

We met up with Derreck(Comin'in Hot) and his Blue near Harrisburg and Ms. Denmark showed him that keeping up with her requires a S/Ced car. Don't know where she gets her need for speed, thankfully the police were scarce and I had my Cylon eye out for any that might have been hiding.

We took some pics but the computer has decided that the camera is now a Xerox scanner so can't post ours yet. I believe Hammerdown took a few so hopefully she can post when she gets a chance.:)

Thanks everyone! Always special when we get together. Also, never hurts to hit the highways for 2+ hours at speed in the MM (WHAT A CAR!).

I just posted on the other thread, and I, too am having trouble with the camera--will keep trying, so I can add the pics I took to this.

And thanks Derek for setting this up--we had a nice drive up, good friends and food and a SUNNY hour afterwards checking out the rides!!!

Eric and I really enjoyed ourselves with all of you. Felt great to walk out of the restaurant and see a sea of Silver Birch. So beautiful!:cool: And so was the weather! Sorry we had to run off so fast but it was 4 o'clock before we knew it and our dogs were home crossing their legs. No time for battlefield pics.:( Great to convoy with you, Comin' In Hot...nothing better in the rear view than a very badazz Supercharged DPB! and thanks for putting it all together!

Looked like a nice get together. How was the food?
Anyone ever go over to the Eisenhower Estate. Run by the Park Service.
They do a nice job. Lot of Civil war sites to see as well.
I liked Gettysburg when we used to go there for the AMC Shows.
Thanks for the Pictures, wish I could have been there.

Lucky for us it was 45* and pretty sunny on Sunday or we would have brought the T.

I had posted we might bring the T which explains why Doomie was a no show. That makes two events where the T was a possibility and no Doomie. Starting to think Pops is on to something:D
