Car has been fixed and very clean. Mechanically sound. 60k miles. A buddy asked me and I figured this is the best place to get a answer. All stock with trunk spoiler. That's all the details I know. No pics. Just a general round about figure would be helpful. The guy is asking $10k for it. Thanks!!

First impressions that seems high for a salvage title car. Just my opinion.

+1. For that money I'd buy one with a clean title:)

That's cool. I wasn't sure what to tell him other than its worth what you will pay for it

AS Others said. Other things affect the sale of a salvage title veh like was it total just because cost of repair but no structural damage Basically some supporting documents like a ins co est showing exact damages.

I would offer him 7k, u are always taking a chance buying a car with a salvaged title. and its going to be a pain trying to get rid of it when you get ready to sell it.

Ill pass the info along. Personally I'd pass on it but he seems to want it pretty bad. Thanks all.....

Jay, A bubby of mine works at a car dealer he said " 1/2 the book price on cars with salvage titles." Hope that helps.
Oh, it was nice meeting you the other day. You have a nice car!

Is it still with a salvage title? What about getting it inspecting it for a rebuilt title?

Thanks a lot. It was nice to meet you as well. We have to meet up again soon. Just let me know
The car does has the title rebuilt I just always have called them salvage titles. Maybe I should start calling it rebuilt when it has been inspected and reinstated safe to drive.

Rebuilt title or not I would only give half of the actual "book" on it. You don't know what happened to it and what's been done or not done on it.

He said it was hit in the front and wasn't bad but I feel it was more since they totaled it.

They are generally "totaled" for a reason..

I know you have to be careful for sure with Salvage Titles, but here is a salvage title I bought with 12 k miles and it allowed me to put Trilogy 212 in it........... No problems at all, love it, best thing I ever did...
This was also a front end driver side collision, never saw photo's of damage, just had checked out and repairs were done perfectly.
Just saying, could be a good deal at the right price....

I agree. I've bought rebuilt title cars before. My daily driver '98 Honda Civic DX Hatch for example. Runs and drives great.
