Remember our get together is on the 3rd Saturday of every month, 02/21/04, at the Cracker Barrel resturant at Delk Road in Marietta. I believe it is exit 261 on I-75. If you need specific directions just post and someone will have it in their archives I am sure.
This month we should see more upgrades. FordNut has his Kook's system installed and I should have the DR Level II Tranny with the reverse cooling heads.
Make you post to this thread and give us a heads up
And...we are soon to be confirmed on having the Doraville PD there with their Marauder Cruisers....
Supposedly..."get-out-of-jail" cards could be distributed...

Well,,, Once upon a time, a long time ago I was pretty bad but, I stay on top of it now usually keeping it below 150 mph and even more conservative than that, under the Century mark.
I figure when they lock up all the rapist and baby killers maybe, I will quit speeding. NOT!!!

Yeh, that wouldn't work for me. I just keep my mouth shut and go to court. I haven't had a conviction in the last 20 yrs. :-)

Nah, the others are just a bit slow to respond. We should have a great group and a lot of new mods. The GreyGhost will be available to test the new DR Level II Tranny and hopefully I will have the Kook's sys. installed. Brian has his Kook's installed and you have your Stage I completed. I finally got my Gods Head badges and they are nice. It really personalizes the car.
Last month we had a Turbo car show up, I wonder what will show up this month???

It's a drag stip that sits on your dash. It gives you 60 ft, 1/8 mi and Qtr mi times and they are pretty accurate

Hey all you ATL Area MM owners! It looks as though I will still be in the area on the 21st and would love to meet you all. If anyone is coming from the south end...I would like to link up with you. I am right by ATL Motor Speedway. Hoping for fair weather and shiny Panthers!

Well, crap-o-la. I managed to swing a Saturday off, and it's the 14th, not the 21st. Besides, I gotta drive to Jackson, MS on the 21st on union bidness.
I will try again (sigh).
Say, you should invite blacksnake. He's got KB #19, which should be way cool to see!
Oohh! Oohh! I'll be there. Need to hear various exhaust notes in person.
What time should I arrive to make a grandd entrance?

I saw Kathy today at the Grand Muffler. She was having something done to the MM. I sure hope it gives her the sound and performance she is looking for. I guess we will all know on Saturday at the breakfast.
I noticed that the Georgia Hot Rod Association is having their annual swap meet this Saturday at JR Miller Park. Anyone interested in going?

I have found the best route to be 72east to I24 thru Chattanooga to I75 south. It is 4-6 lane the whole way and you can make good time. There are many other 2 lane routes that some prefer, but I like the superspeedway route as opposed to the road courses.

Yep...that is the best way^^^.
Back roads look better on a map, but there are a LOT of little towns to go through at 25-35MPH. Once you're on I-24, then I-75...you can cruise at 80 with ease.
