To all those who have added boost, was there anything new you had to learn with the driving/handling after adding boost?

All the above +......make sure you have a (long) straight road if your planning on being heavy foot, especially right off the line...........or all the above will come back to haunt you...........

it all depends on your driving habits.

I personally think the car is much more predictable with boost than before because the tune fixed the random acceleration of the factory tune. I know exactly how much my car will accelerate and when it will break loose because the tune is more predictable (at least in my opinion.)

Be careful in rain/snow, that will take some time getting used to. Right now my car is useless in accelerating in wet weather.

As stated be careful in gauging distance, that car couple hundred yards ahead of you will be within feet of you in a hurry!

Don't mash the loud pedal unless your steering wheel is straight

There is a lot of momentum in these heavy cars, so learn your stopping distances. Be very leary of cold pavement. Yes, you can still get into a violent spin out at 96 MPH with zero warning. Ask me how I know and why I am still missing my underwear from that day....

Just to HAVE FUN!

It's a learn as you go. You will learn what she can and can't do. DOOM is exactly right on the control arms. This will help bigtime. Once you've boosted you will want to have stopping power as well. I'd recommend the Wilwoods in the future. If anything do the fronts. This is a big beast to stop. Enjoy the boost!

I just got boost a month ago, it took two romps on the pedal before I fully let go. Highly recommend control arms (thanks Chris) and you definitely have to re educate yourself on braking distance

Other than that, let it rock

With centrifugal blower you don't notice as much of a difference because most of the power is up top. The only thing I gotta be careful of now is giving it too much gas in the rain.

If I may add:

Watch out on the 1st - 2nd up shift in the rain, particularly while taking a turn..especially when driving over the white (large painted) arrows...

I've learned never be in "boost" at these times...

Got some great advice in motorcycle school that applies. You have to relearn every road.

You think you have driven on a particular road and know it well? You don't. Take it slow like you've never been there and ease into it.

Brad & co. make good suggestions here regarding the balance of any vehicle..... If you go like a mutha, you better be able to stop equally well.

If you are not at the point where brake upgrades are a realistic option (not all of us are big balla dolla :P(you know who you are):P

What I would suggest is to adjust the amount of time/space between the time where you are on the gas..... to on the brake..........

Some folks I know are on the gas, and is immediatly on the brake..... They wonder why they need brake pads and rotors every year........ Judging time & distance is crucial in big cars.

This car is so big and heavy that if you drive it like a Miata all the time you will wear it out. That transition between the gas and brake while driving will decrease the load on your brakes and other parts to a point of extending vehicle life:beer:.

Enjoy the boost:banana2:

We all know the stock marauder can go light speed and a lightly moded one can go rediculous speed, but only a supercharged marauder can go ludicrous speed.

Thats a direct quote from Lone Star I'm pretty sure...........Yah I'm sure.:burnout:
