Based on the flames at and near the outrigger pads and the scorching where the outriggers enter the truck, I'd say someone "touched" those overhead power lines with the tower boom. Hope everyone is OK. Always gotta watch the overheads.

Agreed..all the contact points on the ground are smoking..that big chunk of metal is one helluva conductor

Just crazy to see this happen to a fire truck. If it hit the power lines would the light on the truck stay on ? or blow up?

I suspect that the electrical system on this truck is toast.
