Might want to try and PM "fastblackmerc".
He has a wealth of knowledge and is experienced with LCM, LEDs, and conversions.

There is a "film" in the dash cluster. The lights inside the cluster are white.
Yes you can change the color of the window, door locks, etc. You will need different colored LEDs and desoldering / soldering skills.
I'm working on a way to change the instrument cluster lights to blue. Haven't even tried changing the red needle.

You have to change the tiny LEDs to the color you want.
They look like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/15-OSRAM-BLUE-LEDS-14-mcd-MICRO-SIDELED-1mm-RA-SMD-SMT-/270927052347?pt=LH_DefaultDoma in_0&hash=item3f1482be3b
It can be done..... just like anything else..... you'll need lots of time and lots of money.

Sweet. The thread above is on a manual control hvac unit.
I'm wondering if anyone (FBM!!!!) has taken apart the digital until to figure out how to change the color.

do you mean the actual degrees being displayed? thats not an led, its lcd(liquid crystal display), from my understanding there is a layer of something(liquid crystals?) in between 2 pieces of glass and an electrical current lights it up, not an led, and that i dont feel would be an easy or cost effective mod to do. (im no guru, so if im wrong, please correct me anybody)--whitey

Damn.
I have on 03 aviator and 08 navigator and they have the digital temp readings in a crisp white. It's so soothing! Maybe not being able to change the stock one but adapting another one?!?!?! It does come down to cost/benefit analysis and I really like the interior lights/gauges of my Lincolns.....
