I'm 65 yrs old and have always driven Plymouths, with no problems.
Now that I have retired, I bought a used Mercury (2003 Grand Marquis GS).
My butt is much happier. I saw a TV clip about a Marauder and my interest was really piqued. I was wondering if it was possible to convert the GS to a Marauder! Also, could a Turbo Charger fit the 4.6 under my hood?
I probably can't afford the work, if it was possible, but I would like to know.
I love my Mercury and I'm sorry to see that Ford/Lincoln/Mercury stopped its production. It's a class car!
Thanks everyone.

Would be cheaper to find a used marauder.

^^^^^ What he said. ^^^^^

Turbo charging isn't real common on these cars, but there are quite a few with centrifugal superchargers on them, prolly looking at $5K - $6K for parts and installation, then you'll want to upgrade the suspension and brakes to go along with the new found HP, so figure another $3K to $4K for those mods.

I drove a MGM for years before we got the Marauder, great, comfortable, dependable car glad you like it. The major difference is the Marauders have a
dual overhead cam motor that was not in any Crown Vic or Grand Marquis.
Welcome, lots of helpful people and good info here.

Answer to your question is technically yes but like Doomie said it would be a lot cheaper and easier to buy a used Marauder and put and Eaton or other type of Supercharger in it.

Thanks, Merrill. I do enjoy my MGM, but then I saw a Marauder on TV once and fell in love. Unfortunately, I'm retired and only live on my Social Security, so I guess a Marauder is not in my future. However, I like this site, so here I am.
Take care.

Well, enjoy, and stop by often. For the most part we're a decent bunch; a few reprobates like CBT and such, but the rest are good folk... ;)

How much is your GM worth? You could sell that and find a good Marauder for an extra 4-5k from what you get from the GM. Welcome to the site!
