Will 2004 axles fit/install in 2003 rear?

Not even the mighty Google "site:" search on MM.net can give me the answer. I have a 2003 MM. I have axles from a 2004 MM(Thanks Bradley G!). Any issues?

when (http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi) i do an 03 search both comeup, i think your good to go!!!
hmm they don't list the axles separately.call your local auto parts store for both part #'s

Thank you so much! I believe mine are going finally. I've had the replacement axles for a year. Ford Racing 4.10's will arrive next week. I gotta order the "C" install kit. I am also looking for the pinion shaft retaining bolt - I don't see it referenced often, but there is a strong recommendation to replace it (For only/dealer part?). Some Royal Purple and someone to install it. I got the tune for the SCT - I can't wait!

Yes they will fit!
They are both 28 spline.

I gave mine to a member who put them in his 03. No issues.
