Street Rod show in Pismo has been Father's day weekend. I've gone twice and they get a big turnout of cars. Parking is a pain and unless you get there very early you will do some walking. Street Rods park all around downtown Pismo.

Throw a big party starting up in Carmel and the famous 17 Mile Drive, over to Monterey and the Aquarium, then say a cruise down Hiway 1, a stop at Hearst Castle, detour over to Paso Robles for some great wineries, shopping and eating, then on down to Pismo Beach and time it for their great big Hot Rod show at the pier. I think that might work!;) That would be the gold standard and just about perfect as meets go.

Ms. Denmark I nominate you the official west coast meet n greet coordinator:beer: Thanks for that info we try to incorporate our GTG with some Mustang guys since our members in NorCal aren't as active. But hey I think our last GTG turned out the most 7 Marauders -3 no shows with around 18 people!

Ive been working with Chris (jus4kix03mm) to get more interest as it seems there are a lot more Marauders in the bay area than I thought. Central valley is pretty spread out with few active members.

Just watch out for King City on 101, big speed trap area. We used to take 101 from SJ to SLO but now my in-laws live Sac so I-5 is the way S now. Not as many CHP on I-5 either.:)
