I know that this is kind of the wrong crowd for this, but I figure some of you would appreciate these. I got dragged along to this event by a friend, so I figured I'd make the best of it. There was a lot of rice there, but the drift event was pretty fun to watch! Some of the cars had V8s in them too, sounded mean going around the track.

Very cool and nice job capturing the action!! I love the contrast and your blacks are BLACK!!

Yep, I didn't take the MM though. We rolled in my friend's SRT8 Challenger.

We'll probably be frequenting as many car events as we can up here, so there's always next time.

In their defense, most of these guys are small time hobby drifters, so if it were me, I wouldn't be taking a show car out there either. Drifting is extremely tough on these cars, the most important thing is keeping them running smooth. If you look closely, you can see some of them have added framework where the body panels would be, to reduce damage in the event of contact.

The few out there that are covered in stickers are sponsored drivers, no different than any other motor sport.

Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of rice out there that day, but I have to give credit to the guys out on the track, that is no easy feat!
