Quick question this is about a my buddys grand marquis 2001 we just wanted to know what size speakers are on the doors and are these the same size as the 2003 marauder (mine)??

Yes they are the same size. 6x8

You can also do 5.25" speakers but you need a piece of MDF to cut as a template to hold the new smaller speaker.

If replacing the front speakers it's a great idea to put some sound dampening on as well, like Dynamat, Hushpad, B-Quiet and Fat-Mat. Helps cut down the road noise from outside and can increase bass effect when used correctly to basically seal the door up and turn it into an enclosure for the speaker.

ok preciate yalls inputs on this... and yea i know on mine i will be putting dynamat as i got two trunk kits...
