MMR called today and told me the good news. I am having it trucked out to me early next week.

Next I need a good E85 tuner if there is such a thing. If Marty wasn't 1800+ miles away (I mapped it last night) I would send it to him and drive it back.

What are all the specs on the new motor? Short or long block?
P.S. My current iron sb is an MMR block. I almost destroyed it. Knock in #3 cylinder. Pulled the engine after 3k, took her apart last week. Found a bolt in the oil pan... The bolt that is at the end of the oil pickup tube that bolts to the main. I remember thinking I have to check torque specs on that after making it finger tight and never did. The mouth of the pickup tube dropped and hit the oil pan. You can see a perfect circle worn into the pan. I don't know how it got any oil pressure. 15/17 @ idle and 75/80 @ WOT. All rod bearings are gone, #3 was pounding. Crank and mains are ok, new bearings on the way. Thank you Clevite and MMR!

I'm seriously considering it. I called your shop today and I got a fax machine or something. It must have been after hours. I'll call you tomorrow to pick your brain.

Sorry, I don't know of tuners out there. Maybe someone can chime in and help you out. Hey Marty, do you know of any tuners in AZ you could work with remotely?
