This looks to be a fan site of current GTO owners and fanart of the new 2004 GTO. Some of the pics look pretty good, while others are laughable.

good (http://ultimategto.com/scripts/showcar.cgi?type=show&pic=/2004/04_00140_1)

bad (http://ultimategto.com/scripts/showcar.cgi?type=show&pic=/2004/04_00104_1)

Have fun...

Have fun...Heck, even the "bad" one looks better to me than what they actually are producing. I'm tellin you...even the Pontiac folks are embarrassed by the looks of the thing. Why do you think their ads just show (literally) smoke.

Case in point...

TAF! thats a good one (the smoke covers the smell of the the architect that design that thing) other wise everything else on it like the motor and tranny is sweet.

Couldn't see the GTO in the video. Guess they want to get you into the showroom. I saw the new GTO in Collinsville, Il at the 2003 Pontiac Oakland Convention. IMO PMD rushed the production of the GTO. They used the Monaro platform with some changes. The Holden plant was the only GM plant available for making the RWD LT1 powered GTO. Wasn't too impressed, I expected more. :(

Interesting... about a year and a half ago, I tried my own hand at drafting a GTO concept of my own, back when all we had seen was photos of the Monaro itself.

It's long before I developed any sort of skill with Photoshop, but what the heck...

QUOTE: "In Steve's vision of the new GTO, the car has angled hood scoops more like the '65-'67 style. He tried to graft on a 2nd-gen T/A-like spoiler in the back."

D'OH!!!

Their site is pretty primative looking as compared to ours, that's for sure!

Sounds like they got stuck with the same idiot light/oil gauge as we did, which is kinda of suprising considering almost every GM vehicle I've riden/drove, has a working one...

Still looks like poo IMHO...
