As usual after the real bad weather these last few days tonight was beautiful so I took Ye Olde 73 van out to the local car show. I think me and the van both look pretty good from 25 feet away!

Thanks Casey; I put myself on the "fatboy" program in January of 2011 and am down 122 pounds so far. Had to do it, didnt want to do the lap band thing unless I tried doing it myself first. Actually, its not a diet anymore, its just the way I gotta be forever.

Mike, re interior, Im leaving it empty so I can haul my giant shedding Lab around. It had an interior sometime back in the day but its gone now.

Re motor, its got a slant 6 with a Holley 1920 one barrel thats good for 105 screaming horsepower! Funny thing is its hooked up to a 727 Torqflite (the same trans used on all the hemis back then, wierd.)

Clean looking van, don't see any vintage ones anymore, brings back some good memories, had a '72 (B-200) in my younger (high school) years, had a bed in the back, and a screaming stereo (8-track, lol). My Lab from my high school days would sit in the passenger side captain chair with his head out the window, ear flying in the wind and slobbering all over my custom side mural!...Man those we some great times....:D

Did you raise it? it stands a bit higher than I remember..

Clean van. I like it. You should bring it out to Cars in Coffee in Plano tomorrow at 121 & Spring Creek. Thinking about driving my Jeep up there to get some coffeee and look at cars. Weather has been great this week, so should be a nice morning.
