I pulled the PCV coolant hose and fluid came SHOOTING out everwhere.
My question(s) is this; Why? Is it bad? Is it just water? Do I need to replace fluid somewhere? Do I just let it drain into an empty container? Is this normal?
Lotsa questions today LOL. If I didn't have this resource, who knows how much $$$ I wouldv'e wasted at a mechanic.

The hose on the right. I mean fluid came out with some pressure.

It's normal. The PCV system in the 4V motor is "heated" by the cooling system to prevent the moisture present in crankcase gasses from freezing in cold weather.
Yes, you'll need to replace the amount of coolant you lost.

Anti Freeze? It smelled like nothing and was clear so I assumed it was water from somewhere.
Also I panicked and put the hose back on right away. When I take it off again, should I just let it drain into a container? How much will come out?

Yes, you'll need to replace the amount of coolant you lost.
With that said....you gotta also burp the system. And can be a PIA.

Or can I just pinch the hose and put the tip into the coolant reservoir?

Yes sir if you lost coolant. This will get all the air out of the system.

Just pull the cap off the reservoir and turn the car on until it "burps" right?

There shouldn't be plain water anywhere in your engine.

Just pull the cap off the reservoir and turn the car on until it "burps" right? No. There is a specific procedure needed to ensure all the air is removed. Read the link screamn posted.

Damn...All I wanted to do was take off the manifold and clean the oil out of it. Now I just created an all day project with burping involved. Any other tips for removing the Upper IM? I want to clean out the oil before I install my catch.
