Selling for $1500 with tires. Putting a call into GodSpeed tomorrow to see about fitment. Really close to needing a set of tires; $800 for a set of coopers mounted and balanced very tempted to pickup the set. Or pickup a complete set of tires and rims for $1500.

Thanks fellas yeah I really like the deep dish look and the 315s in the rear look mean and even more sinister. I am now looking to get some GT500 mud flaps/splash guard in the rear and an alignment.

Thanks for the compliments! I rode into the office today and no discernible difference in ride quality and handling definitely is enhanced! Ill have a new thread on this setup.

Thanks man! They really do look better in person. For some reason the godspeeds look different because of the design. But the deep dish rocks in my book:beer:

I know it! It isn't as anemic as I thought it would be though. 13" is the biggest I can go with this setup as the rims won't clear anything bigger. Hence the reason my buddy sold them his 14" Baer kit on the 2013 5.0 was a no go. Lucky me.

Boy these rims really make the car standout even more! Guy pulls up beside me and asks me if i custom built the car cause hes never seen anything like it bad arse! Also, at the dealer and got the Marauder aligned toe and camber out of spec. service rep says the rims totally changed the look and never seen one like it with that combo. Lots of complements.

I think the right offset and deep dish for anything larger than 18" is mandatory on this platform. Of course the wider tires help complete the look. This setup is also functional because it Grips and handles great!

Ok just was at a specialty car dealer next door for my usually noon walk. I paruse their inventory and find a beautiful ZR1 and 2012 Shelby! Lots of nice classics too. I even notice a Z06 c6. The ZR1 335/25/20s is just massively wide but 25 series is too thin. But the rest of thes vets, shelbys, noble maserati where 295 to 285s. Nice to know that I was able to fit 315s. Everything else looked kind up puny now...lol

They look great..So no spacers and no rubbing ? Your car looks lowered in rear is it in front also..?
dohc324ci
05-06-2012, 09:33 AM
^^Thanks I really like the setup too! Yes no spacers, and front is stock with no rubbing and the rear is adjusted but doesnt sit that low on the other side. The system corrects the ride height when on, so I am planning on swapping out all shocks as well.
Don't know how I missed this thread!
God damn that car is NASTY!!! :coolman:

Big fan of black wheels. I like the matte black since your car is glossy. Makes the wheels stand out more with the center cap and lugs being chrome/sliver. Looks great

"dohc324ci", do you have a pic of your car from the front, showing how the tires sit in the fender well?

While I haven't found another wheel that I'd like to replace my factory wheels with, I have to say your car looks great. I love the stance. It's perfect in my opinion. You did well my friend... I'd like to see an angled pic as well.
If someone ever made a factory style 20" wheel, I'd like it to be the same specs as yours. I'd definitely run 315's in the rear

Thank you, I'm going with the same width/aspect ratio tire in the back as you, if not a little taller. I'm running a 285/50-18 in the back right now, which is 29.5" tall and a 255/50-18 in the front, which is 28" tall, on stock wheels. I was checking to see how much room you have between the top outside edge of the front and rear tires and the lip of the fender well. I want to try keeping the fender wells as full as I have them right now. Thank you again.
