I'm doing my yearly mainteneance work and want to Seafoam the induction, ect. I know you are supposed to put it in the through the brake booster vacuum line. Is that the line on the front of the booster with what appears to be an L fitting, fairly thick tube?

I fed mine it through the PCV port but you will have to have a way to control the flow or it will suck it all out of the can in a hurry and stall the car......NOT GOOD!!:shake:

I used an adjustable hose crimper and it worked OK......not sure the Seafoam did anything but smoke up the neighborhood and make my car run like crap for awhile??

IMHO it's a waste of time and money......never did it again and that was 150K miles ago!!

I was also wondering if it works???? But from your experience, you answered my question.

I'm further wondering if it can dirty the spark plugs or maybe even foul them?

Is this also like putting/adding fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank cause I read somewhere that it makes the oil really dirty? Thus, it was mentioned, to add the additive to the gas before changing the oil.

So for those that do the seafoam, do they need to change the oil after 100 miles or so????

Jeesh, I hope not, I just did my yearly oil change. I can say that this was the 1st time I did this, 82,300 on the clock and it certainly made a difference. Killed anything flying in my yard too. ;)
