Reputation points

I am still not 100% comfortable with this concept, Logan, but anyway...

Apparently it is programmed to prevent people from loading up their friends with points, denying a rep addition by requesting that you spread your points around. Fair enough, but any clues as to what your parameters are?

I see how one can send reputation points to or against someone, but how do we see how many we currently have at the moment? How do we see how many other people have? I cannot figure this out....thanks!

In the Members List, you can sort by reputation points, though it does not give you a number. So, does this get me any ++rep points?? I'm still trailing TAF!!!
