How much to wheels?

Beats me.....never been on a dyno but others with the same setup get 390-400 at the wheels......some more!!

did you ever have to replace your timing chain arms?

Thats a lot of miles. Hope I make it that far!

My brother has about 251,000 miles on his 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis. Panthers can last a long time. Go Panthers!

No sir......nothing on the engine except plug, belts, water pump and tensioners...the rest is OEM and it has NEVER used any oil!!:shake:

Still tight and puffs a little on start up but it always did!!

If it goes poof I'll probable get an Aluminator and keep going!!

No dyno? Do you even use the S/C? Always wanted to ask when I see you post up your mileage. So how often dose it actually see boost?

What kind of silly question is this Bob??

Every day.....10-11 PSI at 6500 RPM's.......spins the 295's all the way through first and the normally harsh 1-2 shift is smooth as silk!! BTW, even if it was N/A this mileage is pretty damn respectable!!:bows:

I'd go into the tuning but a Vendor that is no longer here doesn't need anymore bashin' and that ain't what this thread is about!!:shake:

Hope yours lasts half this long!!

Good to hear on the arms..

If you want the smoke at start to stop try a bottle of Auto-rx. It will clean and recondition the seals.

You must have done the suspension I'm sure. Just did my complete front end at 80k - uppers, lowers, springs, shocks and end links (both sides) - mine was creaking and very worn.

Upper ball joints since the boots rotted.....but joints still good at 177K miles!!

Shocks at 220K miles and they were still good......AC Delcos up front and Monroes in rear.....they were not good so I went with new OEM's and they are much better!!

I guess it's a SB thing. I'm just a hair over 180k miles. Mine uses maybe 1/2-3/4th of a quart of oil over a 5k mile spread. Will go Aluminator route with mine as well plus a few other little goodies.

Good boy. A car that gets used and driven like it was built. I didn't take you for one of those guys at a car show who not only know anything about their car, but also never run the thing..

But with those miles, obviously I had to ask.

I'm quite certain my car has never not seen boost every time I take her out. Maybe once or twice in eight years?? Naw. Impossible. Even Melanie kicks that azz end out when she drives :) (Might just be her way of bitchslappin the other woman??)

LMAO. @ Mel bitchslappin the other woman. Once supercharged every ride deserves a WOT.

I don't know jack about my car, except how to drive it and love every minute of it

I agree---I just seem to never come back home when I take out the RED LINE BEAUTY without at least doing over 100 MPH at least once ----somewhere--------or until till-----and it doesn't take long-----then she can be put back in the garage--

Exactly Jeremy!!:bows:

I have only owned one car longer than the Marauder but it is rarely driven......it's a 1966 Cobra replica that I have owned 12 years now!!

These Marauders are simply amazing......too bad they and the "brand" are gone now!!:bigcry:
