Researching the final parts for the eaton swap and was wondering what gauges those who are boosted here chose to install in their car?

I'm thinking a boost gauge and an IAT would be good...still deciding.

What are all you running?

I run these along with a working oil pressure gauge in center console.

I only run the most important two there is, the boost gauge itself, and the AFR gauge. Both of these are mounted on the A pillar for quick reference at the track while keeping the eyes on the road.

Run dual Aeroforce Interceptors and you'll have four platforms you can set to monitor four individual functions, or set them to scan multiple functions.

I'm currently set up with two analog gauges and a single Aerofoce Interceptor in my A pillar pods.

The analog gauges are fuel pressure and boost. The Aeroforce is currently set for one platform monitoring IAT and the other coolant temp, but will be getting a wideband and will then set up the second for AFR.

most important items to monitor on boosted engine with custom tune: (1) air/fuel ratio / wideband gauge; (2) fuel pressure; (3) tranny temp; and (4) oil pressure: and (5) engine temp. The last three are in no particular order but I feel much more comfortable knowing where my tranny and engine temp are at, particularly here in Houston.

I love the functionality of the aeroforce scan gauges because they are very versatile.

Myself, if you know (and are comfortable with) your pulley combo, the boost gauge does nothing more than make you feel good that the car is supercharged. It "may" help you diagnose belt slip, but there are easy other ways to diagnose belt slip without having to look at a gauge. I actually took the boost gauge out of one of my former s/c vehicles to install a scanguage in its location...

Just my 2 cents.
