Vote in the poll if you are attending. I'll be doing T-shirts again this year, but they will be simple design. In fact you guys may even like the simple design over the extravagant. Also we are doing the member supported BBQ so any food items are greatly appreciated. I'll be sure to have the grills on hand from last year with plenty of propane to keep the food coming. Post up what items you are bringing with you so other members know what everyone is bringing.

In-voting with awards are returning again this year with a slight difference. I'm going with plaques for our awards. Trophies are nice, but I just wanna change it up a bit and keep it interesting. Plus it saves a TON of room in my backseat transporting everything. I'll make sure they are worth winning just as much as the trophy is.

We are also having our annual Saturday night Italian dinner at...
DaVinci Italian Eatery
6617 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

Looking forward to seeing all you guys very soon.

Vote in the poll if you are attending.

I'm registered #17644 with the Marauder ....and booked at the Carlisle Hampton Inn since last June. Two (2) T-Shirts XL, one black & one white for your list.

If George (S.O.B) comes with me, I may also register the Taurus SHO for their class and let him drive it up. Still waiting on him to decide whether he can attend or not.

Will let you know later of what I can bring .... last year I brought a case of water, four 12-packs of soft drinks/iced tea, and a couple packs of hotdogs. If you need anything in particular, let me know.

My "Showfield" sticker came in the mail today. Yellow Showfield. Class Number is Y452. My number is #308. Last year was #099. Guess there was a rush on early registrations. Hope they were ALL from MercuryMarauder.Net.

Don't think that we can predict where the Yellow Showfield is until the Carlisle Map comes out. Last Year Yellow was "On the Hill". Check the Carlisle Events site >>>> http://www.carlisleevents.com/events/ford-nationals/. They are still showing the 2011 Directory on the registration page. The map is in the middle of the directory-- PAGES 30-31..

From what I recall, they move the colors around from year to year to keep us guessing. Within the color area, you really can't determine a specific location without their Row Mapping of Classes.

Last year the "Red Showfield" was on the flat to the right as you enter through the gate. From the grandstands looking out it would be to the left where the registration garage was located.

I'd say about 1/4 mile walk for you and Freddie -- one way. :D Of course, you could always ask DOOM to call the "Gator Taxi" with a smoke exhibition. ;)

I'll be there again this year, I managed to beg some time off the new job. I'll be there Friday/Saturday, Sunday is up in the air. Unfortunately, I'll be driving up in a GM gas-sipper and parking outside the gate.

I'd like 1 white & 1 black T-shirt, if XL is still available. Add another XL white & black for Marauder Santa. He asked me to be one of his elves this year.

We'll be on the top of the hill almost where we were last year. Yellow Section Row NQ ... probably NR too. The Mercury Marauder tent is show on the map as "T". Map is in the middle of the directory, Page 17 of 33.

The 2012 Ford Nationals Directory is Here >>>> http://www.carlisleevents.com/pdf/2012_Ford_Directory_web.pdf

I just noticed, I made sheet 21 (page 40).

Looks like the typical Carlisle weather report. Maybe one year they will move this event since it rains EVERY year!

As long as I can remember, it always rains at least one day during the All Fords at Carlisle. Many times, it's just a shower that passes. I've been there every year since the 1990's...

Well, from what is predicted, at least it won't be super hot this year. Might need the leather jackets at night?

Dang I think I'm too late. www.carsatcarlisle.com says:
Online registration has now closed for this event. Registration is available at the event.

Does anyone know how much it would cost at the gate the day of? and Will I still be able to park with you all on the showfield?

Should tell you the price on the website? Might be 5-10 bucks more. And YES you can park with us. Be sure to register your club as mm.net.

Ill be down there w/ Gary Sr too. However (much like last year) our Marauder will not be attending but instead I will once again bring my 01 Qvale Mangusta... I still plan to park over with everyone on here in the MM.net area.

P.s.
I plan to stay down in Carisle Friday afternoon - Sunday afternoon.
I will also have some equipment with my from a new venture I am starting which involves roof top tents & vehicle camping awnings. I will see about setting the awning system up in our area or near our area. Perhaps it will help provide some extra shade for fellow MM.net members...

See everyone there...

It looks like we are in the same row as last year. On the hill, overlooking the show field..sweet! I went onto the Calisle Events web-site last night and that is where they have us listed.

We are in the "Yellow Showfield", Rows NQ-NR and the MercuryMarauder.Net tent is shown as a "T" on the map. Looks exactly like where we were last year.

We'll definitely miss you this year, Joe. :( Hope you are able to "swing" by for a visit.

For all attendees ...

DON'T FORGET YOUR CARLISLE REGISTRATION STICKER AND GOODIE BAG LETTER. BETTER YET, PUT THE STICKER ON NOW (Driver's Side Windshield Top) SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO FUMBLE AROUND AT THE GATE. :D I put the letter over the visor.

I leave my sticker on all year round. A razor blade takes it right off, I never had any residue.

If you have to stop and get your sticker at the gate, then you will also get your goodie bag letter there.

After your arrival and parking in the MM area, you can walk down to the registration building near the grandstand and pick up your stuff, directory, voting ballot, ... and your Carlisle dashboard placard (to display inside your windshield). Just ask one of the gang and they will point you in the right direction.

I never had a problem with the sticker. Mike Poore used to put "Saran Wrap" on his windshield and stick the sticker to it. I guess as long as the wind or driving doesn't blow it off, that's OK. Personally, I wouldn't risk it for the little effort to scrape the sticker off.

Thanks for the info Charlie. You know as many times as I've been to Spring/Fall/Ford Nationals @ carlisle (more than I can count on my fingers) this is the first time I've participated in the on field show event
