I think that I posted this before but, the first weekend that I had the car, I took it out on my favorite stretch of "unmonitored" highway with the family.
I stomped on it and took it up to about ## MPH.
When I slowed down, my son (6 at the time) said:
"My cheeks went backwards!".

Leaveing work one morning, I pulled up to the light and my co-workers pulled beside me one in a Charger 3.5 High output and another in a Grand Pix.....After talking so much mess about my car it was time to put up or shut up and I was sleepy as hell but I couldn't back out now. So we all looked at each other and said "Whoever makes it to the next light first wins" now these aren't your normal blocks the next light was at least 3 to 4 miles away.......Light turned GREEN :burnout:and I hit it (SN: The road was wet from the night before, we work in the everglades) So after my spin out session LOL they had at least a car length on me or more...I think this is the moment I fell in love with my MM she ran both of them down passed them and showed her tail lights the rest of the way!!! :banana2:

Every day I drive it like Brian said. So many memorys & good times it's really hard to pick one out. But 1 that sticks with me is when I had just got my SB back with the Alluminator & Whipple and nailed it at about 30, my 5 yr old was in the back laughing saying it sounds like a jet daddy. Or the night I took a lady friend out & let her do 4-monster burnouts with my 03 & seeing the smile on her face. Thank god my wife dont come on here LOL;)

For me, it would be STAP 2010 and STAP 2011.
Even though STAP 2011 started with the RAS crapping out only 80 miles from my house, the car bounced back and made it in time to get this picture (http://i.imgur.com/bgTVL.jpg) (DUW, and that's my car in the front).

I'm with doom. Day I picked it up with the Trilogy installed. Never driven anything like it. My friend was shocked too.
Second favorite had to be picking it up at the painters. Can't believe what a clay bar can do.
Third the day I test drove it and bought it, and spun it out in an intersection. :)
everyday I drive her! :burnout:

My favorite day...
Woke up at 6:00am to catch a flight from Charleston, SC to Albuquerque, NM. Arrived in ABQ at 1pm (Mtn time). Walked out to passenger pick-up area just as my MM was rolling up. Gave it a quick once-over, signed one last piece of paper, grabbed the keys, threw my bag in the trunk and drove off to start my journey back to SC.
Every day since then has been just as good....

I was scheduled and booked for MV IV and New Smyrna but ended up spending my "Marauderville vacation" in the hospital. :( Otherwise it would have been the Marauder 14 @ New Smyrna. :D Darn sorry I missed that one.

New favorite:
Just this evening, went to GMC dealer to pick-up wife's Acadia. They had a nice, yellow SS2 Camaro on display across the lot. I checked it out quickly (I'd take it...but not for the $31k!) As I walked back to my MM, a salesman came out of the showroom. Before he could say anything, I said "I was just lookin'. Not really interested." He came back with, "That's fine. I was actually coming out to get a better look at your Marauder. The car's a beast!"......from a GM dealer.
I was impressed he knew what it was, only looking at the nose. My local Ford dealer, after having it for service once (and only once) still insisted on referring to it as my Grand Marquis

My best day(s) the day I found the srt8 magnum I raced when I was bone stock after I did my mods to my car.
2nd one every time I go to a marauder meet.
The test drive in 2004. Guy who owned it was retired Navy Chief, worked at a high end used car lot, told me he would be out of town that weekend but since I was a Chief he would leave the keys for me, and Monday it was going out front for sale, and by the way it is blue. Blue? Typo, I thought, couldn't even find a picture of a blue one online. So, he e-mailed me that Thursday. I blow it off, figure if it is blue, it must be that ugly baby blue Ford color. Only blue Marauders I can find online are Suzuki Marauder motorcycles. Friday, blow it off, same reason. Saturday, nah, screw it, Marauders only come in black. Sunday, what the heck, I'll go look. Call the place, like 20 miles away, say I'm coming to scope it out. They said "Oh, you're Casey? We will park it out front, so-and-so said to give you the keys." I'm on the right hand side of divided street, roll past the dealer to turn left and I see it, shining like....justice. It was the longest friggin' light ever. Turned green, whipped a u-turn, pulled in and got the keys. Exited the parking lot, stomped it, made a u-turn about 100 feet up, made another u-turn at the light I'd been trapped at 10 minutes ago, flew into the parking lot, jumped out and bound into the store and yelled "SOLD!" Came back the next day with 23 grand and a used Cavalier they gave me a grand for and that was all she wrote. Met the seller, I clearly remember him telling me "they only made about a thousand blue Marauders so it's kind of rare." Had 22 thousand miles on it. He wanted something smaller to tow behind his gigantic motorhome. I thanked him, went home, and shortly thereafter discovered mercurymarauder.net and found out they had already quit making Marauders and they made way less than a thousand blue ones.
I could have shortened this, but I don't think it would have captured how I truly felt. All the events and people, all are special, I cannot single out one and say that is my best memory like the memory of day one, the day I almost didn't go look at it because I thought he was mistaken about the color.

After few years..after searching, not only mine, but also my dads dream car we found our marauder. I was searching for a black one originally but then saw this great opportunity on our DTR so we took it with no regrets to this day. Then I come to mm.net and realized we chose one of the slowest marauders lmao but other than that, my fav. memory: getting picked up from school on our DTR and seeing my dad smile like I've never seen before. :D

Here's another memory ..... Marauders invading the Sunoco station in search of 93 Octane at the end of Marauderville III (MV3) in Detroit, MI. I think we made that owner's quota of 93 Premium for the week. ;)

Below is the Burger King (BK) parking lot on Woodward Avenue at MV III, August 2005. When I snapped this pic, I had just counted 85 MMs in the lot (both sides of the building, front, entrances, and open grass spots.) That's the most that I have ever seen in one location at one time.

For me, it was either the day I test drove it and fell in love. I remember doing my first WOT in a Marauder and being very impressed, more than I was expecting! I knew right there and then this was the car FOR ME!
OR, it would be the rainy, dreary, cold day that I signed off all the paperwork and drove it home, even though it had a traction control error due to the dealer putting on the wrong size tires (245's all the way around) or the fact that the t-stat was bad so it ran hot for a minute before it cooled down....those both worried me but I had them fixed by the dealer the next week, and now everything is hunky dory.
Still haven't raced anyone yet...

New favorite memory created Monday...
The minute I put the Lidio tune back in after driving stock for the weekend in order to pass RI inspection.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
back in 2004 after i picked up my DTR from Highland Park L/M, i was on my way home when i spied a pretty young thing hitch hiking...being a good guy, i pulled over and offered her a ride. as we got talking she confessed to me that she is a witch....i laughed a little and said that i didn't believe her...to prove the point, she unbuckled her seat belt and slid very close to me, moistened her lips and blew into my ear....my marauder turned into a motel!

Before getting S/C'd I was sitting at a light and a Nissan Maxima pulls up next to me. The driver looks over and starts given me this S... eatn' grin along with laughing at my car. Then started reving their engine. So, I let him take off from the light and about a half mile up the road we come to another light and of course I was already sitting there waiting on him. They pull up next to me and everyone started :bows:.
He really liked it when it was NA, I'd like to find him now!:D

Driving it home from the Dealer!! Was a nice day and a fairly long ride from Raynham to Winchester which was cool . Still have never driven another 2003 up Panther so it's a big treat compared to all the older non rack and pinion Town Cars and Crown Victorias I own(ed)
Took it for a test drive and knew it was mine, even parked next to my 2001. Ended up trading it in really did not want to but it was for the greater good.
