You know...the ones that say someone died and I represent them and want to split the millions with you if you send me your info....
I laughed.....it said some guy died in an auto accident with his entire family back in 2007 in East London....and since I have the same last name (highly doubtful as I have a Hispanic last name and the email says Adams so it wasnt even close).
Then he gets a little more aggressive and send another email the next day saying I need your info if you want the money, a sum of 15.1 million pounds....(pound of what??? J/K)
I hear about them all the time...this is the first I have ever received.
Then he leaves his number and name and email....
Hold your breath till you hear from me...it will be very soon, I promise!!

On a slightly different note, a friend of mine was scammed out of $50,000 by falling for some BS on a dating website. He hooked her, sent her flowers, told her he wanted to marry her but he owned a drilling company in Great Britan and had to do a large job in Nigeria for several months before returning to his other home in NYC where he planned to have her come and live with him. And oh by the way, the romance was all by computer or phone. She never set eyes on him....but when he asked her to wire money to him in Africa because some "disaster" had wiped out his computer equipment and broken his drill bit, she fell for it and cleaned out her savings account. She never heard from him again.

Thanks Rex, I have been wondering where all these long lost uncles kept coming from. One of their names was Henrich?
