They are fun to drive but total crap, zero quality. If you like working on it all the time and replacing the same parts over and over.

Had a Triumph Spitfire once.

Great car once I replaced the entire electrical system, harness and connectors. British cars are notorious for having very poor electrical systems.

Rust is or will be a major problem.

My uncle had a Spitfire project car for like 20 years, scrapped it all a few months ago.

I owned a new 1962 MGA. I was young enough to put up with the absolute POS it and the MGB I bought as a replacement after I wrecked it were. I would not recommend. The Healey at least had the size and power to be really fun and the Sunbeam Tiger I would play with again but stay away from Morris Garage. Electronics, toy engines and absolutely no ability to resist rust .....nightmare city. If you have an unlimited budget and an english passion try the even older MG models...same problems but at least they are unique and fun toys. Carry your AAA card so you will have a ride back home.:) Dennis

The older MG's were the bomb, having about 2 inches of clearance under the vehicle. The newer one just didn't have as much fun factor.
