removal of center console

Did a search last five mins. How do I remove the center console ?

Open the counsel, pull up gingerly. If your looking to remove the whole thing, Put the car in gear, remove the center gauge pod by pulling straight back and move them to the side. Next slide down the plastic piece directly under the shifter handle to reveal the two tork screws. Remove screws, remove handle, and then remove the counsel assembly. Can't remember if there is any screws in there, easy to see if so.

Thanks for the help. I didn't want to break anything. I had the center console completly out years ago when I installed sound deadning. All I could remember was how to remove the gauge pod.
