Well, all things come to an end. Saying goodbye to a member of the family... :bigcry:
Got the BlueBeast in 1987ish and it has been a faithful chariot ever since.
I love driving the tank and will miss it - like losing an arm or leg!!! :depress:

It's really true that sometimes our cars or trucks can become so much a part of us that when they're gone we feel a loss. I can relate.

Put Blue Beast at end of drive for sale on Sunday afternoon & sold it Tuesday morning. Gotta love Craigslist!
Well I pick up Blue's replacement tomorrow. I could call it "Blue 2" as it's blue also (coincidence). Will post pics... :D

I don't know how you did it. I love those old Chev pickups, and if it had been with me for a long time I don't think I could part with it.

Yes, the rust was beyond saving as I wanted to do.
I also desperately needed a truck so I can work on the house.
Finally had to do it.
Bought it in 1987 for $3000 and sold it for $500. It cost me $2500 for 25 years of use and only 1 set of tires and a fuel pump. Can't complain...
