The guy I got the MM from told me that all you have to do is tune it back then drive it 50 miles computer needs to run a full cycle before returning to insp station.

I've heard that too but when I went to the States inspection place it failed for the first time in 4 tries. It passed with flying colors 3 times and when the State said "unsupported" everything you fail I was miffed. Took the car to a local shop and they read the OBDll port with a scanner and everything came up "complete". Eventually had a private shop do the inspection and his State machine said fail but his OBDll scanner said everything was working. It makes me believe the States software may have a glitch. That's why I'm interested to see if your car zips right through with the OEM tune or you get failed.

Keep us posted on your results.:)

If you run the drive-cycle procedure, you may not need to drive so far:

Good evening everyone I wanted to let you all know how the insp went on my DTR04. Well after driving the car for a few days and put about 115 mile from the last insp that i failed I went to auto zone and asked the guy hook it up on there little hand held computer all codes were good so I went to NJ inspection station and the car past with flying colors. Now getting ready to put it back to the SCT 355 tune that was on it and wake it back up.

Thanks for the update.
I don't even bother with the state sites as I've heard so many people have problems with them and the tunes. I return the stock tune, drive my 70-80 miles in mixed driving (HATING it!!!) and pay my local shop the $49.
Only 16 more years until we can get QQ plates
