So it takes the Lingenfelter ZL1 to run 200mph not the regular ZL1 from the factory.

And they're saying they want to compare that to a FACTORY 2013 Shelby.

Can't wait to see what happens.

AMEN thats exactly what I said to myself when I saw this video. AND, I doubt the ford is gonna take multiple runs to barely reach 200, You tell it to do 200, and It'll do 200.

Its impressive, but GM has $35B to pay back to the American public.... If Lingenfelter purchased that car then built it, no problem........ If GM brought the car too Lingenfelter, then big problem...........

As far as comparing a car from the factory that has not shown up in dealerships with a car that was brought to an outside tuner for further enhancements? Lots to say, but will wait to see the actual cars in the showrooms, and then we will see whats up.

Got to respect Ford for coming out and claiming the turf 1st though....Pretty ballsy:D

Soooo many excuses...oh the wind, the inlet temperature, we put different wheels on it, I just had to stand on it. Give me a break! What a POS! I wonder why they didn't invite Ford to bring a Shelby? Oh, that's right, cause the Shelby would've embarrassed them.

Lingenfelter powered Camero's, Corvettes and CTS-V's are bad arse! Too pricey for me but specialty cars are $$$.

I may need to be schooled here but how is a car Lingenfelter supes up any different than a Mustang Carroll Shelby supes up? Are the Shelby's built on a Ford assembly line or are Mustang carcasses shipped to Shelby to be built in his independent shop? Can you go to a Chevy dealer and say I want the Lingenfelter option?

That guy sounded like a typical Retard Ricer with all his maybes and excuses!\

OK!
Let's let Carroll Shelby or Jack Roush play around with the new GT500 and see what it will do.

As everyone has pointed out:
A heavily modded ZL1 finally creeped past 200 mph......that's at least what a bone stock 2013 GT500 will do right off the showroom floor.

BTW: That kind of speed in a Camaro could cause mullet induced whiplash!

At the moment Lingenfelter is not a "box" you can tick when ordering your GM vehicle at any GM dealer. The Pontiac Firehawk was a "Tier I" vehicle you could order at a Pontiac dealer. Pontiac would then build it, send it down the road in Que to SLP for their touches, the car would return to the assembely facility where it was loaded on the train/truck like any other new car.

Lingenfelter does work with different individual dealers around the country, but they are not as of yet Tier I like SLP was/ may still be...

The Special Vehicle Team at Ford designs the gt500. Carroll shelby just puts his name on it
