As most of you know the adjustable pedals on the Marauder may fail to move due to a failure of one of the gears inside the unit.
I've just acquired a set of pedals, thanks Russ - 03mmmonre. I will be disassembling them to find the problem. If it is the gear(s), I've already got someone that will be able to make the gears. No cost yet.

You mean the plastic gear against the metal gear design.

Is the unit sealed up like Fort Knox or is it pretty easy to disassemble?

Haven't taken it apart yet. Doesn't look to bad to disassemble.

Ford once charged me $75 to "diagnose" the problem with this when they knew damn well what is was. I said my 2 year old could have told me it is broken and I need a new one.
I didn't pay the $75.
Finally!!!!!!
I think everyone here will buy this!

Looking at it sitting there, it is SO obvious they designed the thing to break. Wrong thing to do on so many levels.

I did a write up on how to disassemble the the unit but never got around to getting a gear made. There is grinding involved and the worm gear the plastic gear rides up and down on will need to be drilled and tapped for a screw to hold it together once a new gear is installed.
It's not overly complex but more of a PITA project.
Jim do you want the gear only or the whole disassembled pedal unit? PM me your preference.

If a new gear was offered up in a kit with the parts and instructions needed on how to do everything I know i would be interested. Its just a matter of cost.

Any new gear should not be plastic over metal. My Aviator is a year older than the Marauder with a lot more miles. Eric drives it regularly, so the pedals are moved up and back frequently without any breakage so far. Wonder what type gear Lincoln used?

Your missing the gas pedal assembly.
You need to disconnect it and then reinstall it to the new or hopefully repaired one.:)

So it's only the brake pedal gear that goes bad?
I'll look at both sides.

The gas pedal rides with the brake. To my knowledge it is only the POS gear I sent you that is the culprit. Be best if your machinist could do the whole gear in brass or mild steel. The worm gear it rides up and down on is steel but I think the worm gear that is driven by the motor may be brass. Anything will be better than the plastic/metal combo Ford came up with.
Wonder if the .002 grams Ford saved it weight using the plastic gear resulted in a torque gain at the rear wheels?

Just met with my machinist.
The gear is a little complicated with a gear on the outside and a gear on the inside.
He estimates the gear will be in the $80 - $90 range. It will be made out of billet steel.
I have a set of pedals that I'll try the gear on.
I will offer the gear separately as well as a repair and exchange program... you send me your pedal assembly, I repair it and send it back or you send me money and I send you a repaired pedal assembly, when I get your pedal assembly back I refund the core charge.
Of course I'll have detailed instructions for installation and R&R.
