I figured you guys would like this car. My dad had a vision when he bought this car, I thought he was crazy when he told me he bought a 1941 chevy 4 dr., but he had a vision. Here is the first digital pic I could find of the car. It had gallons of bondo and bad body work, front wheel that looked like they came off of a lambo countach, and the rears were chrome and copper plated cragars, it also had a red bra.... basically it was a pile of ***** held together with primer, self tapping screws and duct tape.

this is the car the year we decided to disguise it a little with guide coat and new wheels until we were able to do some body work.

Here are some pics after the chop and the two tone black temporary paint job. pay no attention to the scoop, we toyed with the idea of chopping it up 10 different ways and moulding it into the hood, but decided against it.

and here is is today after replacing the original front suspension with a fatman mustang II stage IV kit with coilovers and wilwood brakes. We also replaced the 290hp 350 with 90s holley procharger with a SBC 406, new exhaust with fenderwell headers and magnaflows. I can't wait to get the front end back together.

My dad bought engine, I haven't seen the paper work but its a SBC 406 with what looks like fuelie heads, roller rockers, and I'm told it's approximately 500hp. The trans is a TCI turbo 350 street fighter, but thats going to change when we replace the firewall this winter to move the engine back to make room for a 6-71 blower's pulleys, we are leaning towards a turbo 400 and a gear vendors OD. The rear is a 1958 Oldsmobile posi rear with 3.42 gears, they are bullet proof.

the green pickup in the garage is a 1950 Ford F1, it has a Jeep drivetrain with am AMC 360 and we sold it but now regret it, it had great patina but is now purple and lost all of its cool factor. Here are some pics that I dug up.

LOL its not mine, I have driven that thing all of 3 miles in my life. It's not that I can't, I just feel its not mine and for the little that it's on the road, my dad should enjoy it.
