Donna in 1970, what a stunner. I had 3 posters on my bedroom wall as a young boy. Donna Summer, Farrah Fawcett, and Star Wars.

For a while, even though she didn't know it, Ms. Summer was going to be my first ex-wife. I liked her, and her music alot. May I suggest "Sunset People" for anyone wishing to listen to one of her hits today.

R.I.P. Donna Summer .... here is her signature song from 1975 "Love to Love You Baby". Back at that time, this was pretty risque for the radio.

She did good. I think she was a hooker turned singer. Loved her vocals. "Love to Love You Baby" did something to me. I think it was my wedding song.

I am really surprised at the music snobs here. :P You may not like Disco .... but it is what it is and it is just a continued evolution of music through the years. Every type has had its period in the Sun.
Fortunately, I can appreciate all types of music and have seen several eras first hand. Classical, Jazz, Swing, Big Band, Rock & Roll, Surfer, Soul, R&B, Country, Blue Grass, Pop, Rock, Metal, Disco ...... the list goes on, and on, and on and will continue to change and evolve over time. Its all good !!! Some just stays around longer than others.
