John Andretti, fastest in Tuesday's first Daytona 500 practice, knows a good showing this week could attract a sponsor to subsidize the full 2004 season for the No. 1 DEI Chevrolet team.

I havent checked but has Mark Martin run yet?? And do you like the new points system they doing? Still a novice NASCAR fan but brother in law is a BIG Rusty wallace fan and he is pulling me in!

I kinda like the new system. It adds more excitement into the sport. I've been a big fan ever since Dale Earnhardt died. Mark Martin isn't doing well in qualifying. Watch the Gaterade 125 qualifying races on Thursday. I'm hoping that Harvick or Jr. will take the checkered. Go to a few races and you'll really be hooked like I am. I've already got my tickets for Chicagoland. I've been to Daytona; Pepsi 400, and to Indy; Brickyard 400.
