View Full Version : camshaft bearing caps

Had my heads reconditioned and can't find the caps. Machine shop said I NEED those caps or it won't work. I can Get a line bore job with different caps which will cost hundreds more. So did I just spend X amount on these heads for no reason or is there a way to make it work.

The 4V cams don't have traditional bearings, so yeah...you'll need those caps.

So that perfectly good head is trash. SMMFH I could spit nails now.
