About 651,000 Battle Deaths in all of America's Wars to date since the American Revolution. Just shy of 1.2 Million total deaths (Battle and Non-Battle related). World War II accounts for nearly half of that total.
All told, 41.9 Million Americans have served during wartime over the past 237 years.
Here are the statistics .... Source: DoD 2007. >>>> http://thomaslegion.net/factsheetforallamericaswarsinc ludestotalsforkilledandwounded .html
:flag: Fly the Flag Proudly today !!! Half staff until Noon. :flag: .... and please remember the reason for the Holiday. Not a day to be happy as much as grateful to those who didn't come home.
Freedom ain't Free and it isn't Cheap either. Do something nice for your favorite Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman, and Coastguardsman (yes, they serve during wartime too) today.
Here ya go Blackjack .... click on "Quote" and you can see how embedding a video is done.
