Nitto 555 mileage life?

So, I looked at my front tires today and noticed that the 235/55/18 Nitto 555's are close to the wear bars already. These tires only have ~25K on them! I was very surprised to see this ... I expect that mileage from my rear tires, but fronts, no. :argue: I think I have another 5K in them.

For those of you running 555's up front, what kind of mileage are you getting out them? I will have to look at the Cooper's and other brands cause 25K out of front tires ... yeah ...

I have 45K on a set of 555's up front and there is still a lot of tread left. It sucks that yours arent lasting very long.

Yep! They are beautifully smooth and flat. Also, no track time on these tires.

45K on the front ... mine will definately not last that long.

Yeah, I've got the same problem with mine; wear rate has increased substanitally on my car over the past year, can't figure it out... :dunno:

They aren't a tire designed for tread life, they only have a 300 tread wear.

Also the narrower they are the more they wear, more weight.
