hey guys only one tire is spinning when doing a burnout and when bought my car i seen the person put the metco control ams and i have a aftermarket ford racing rear cover.

so im guessing they changed the fluid and didnt put the FM in it and it burnt the clutches up and only making one trie spin

is there any other easy fix things i could try first before rebuliding the whole rear end bec if do that gonna replace the whole axle and everthing done right the first time.

but i wanna save money i have some royal purple 75w-140 and i know it already had the FM in it you think i could be possible if i just change out the fluid with this RP and maybe it could fix it and make both tire spin like its supposed too

i also noticed when i look under the car it NEVER drips but i noticed a little fluid around the gear box and axle guy told me i need to replace the seals and that they are shot and have a small leak, since this is happening maybe there isnt enough fluid in there.

i think im just gonna change out the fluid and hope it fixed the problerem if not gonna be a whole rear end rebuild new axle, new differential, seals, bearing, carbon clutches and instalation kit and my ford racing 4.10 gears to go with it :D car just hit 120,00 mile son her and have had it for 2 years and bought with 99,000 miles on her

so what you guys think i should do since bought the car redid just bout everything on this car except the rear end and the suspension.

need some advice would do the whole rebuild but just low on funds right now and just hoping to put new fluid in and replace the seals so nomore leaks and both tires will spin when doing a burnout since ive bought the car only one spins

The "one wheel peel" means the clutches in the rear are toast..... changing fluid can't fix it. The rebuild is easy once you have the rear apart.

Mobil1 also promises FM already added, yet mine started chattering on tight turns.. Back to all Motorcraft products for me, never once had an issue with them before.

I just put in Mystik along with a tube of LS additive. Works fine.

I never did solve my one wheel tire spin either. When I switched out to 4:10 gears, I upgraded the position unit to the Auburn one and my splines were perfect condition. Car had like 16,000 on it I think. What do you guys think would have caused my one wheel spin.

Check if your differential vent is clean and working before changing any seals.

^^^^^ What he said. ^^^^^

Prolly need to change the clutches and steel discs to fix. Cost <$200 for parts.

I paid $105 for mine when I had my diff rebuilt during 4.10 install....the shop purchased them, not me...best price I saw online was $110, but I didn't spend much effort looking.

Make sure you get the 03/04 Cobra Carbon clutches. They kick ass.
